Architecture History and Theory
The goal of this module is to let students better understand how Western architecture has envovled from prehistoric ancient architecture to the Enlightenment era, while learning the knowledge, art and technology of new architectural design. Students also have the chance to learn the visual vocabulary and language of architecture through painting in order to create a variety of old historical structures for the project. Students can use old wisdom to improve modern architecture. In this subject, students can also identify between the traits, building methods, materials, architectural designs, floor plans, and facade analyses of ancient and modern structures.
