Assignment 2: Design Strategy and Development
Title: Learning Center Design in Merdeka 118 Precinct
Brief Summary:

Phase 2.1: Develop an Architectural Design Strategy for a community Learning Center. The strategy should address issues such as site synthesis, urban theories, and sustainable design. Precedent studies of international and tropical examples are included to guide form and function.
Phase 2.2: Focus on Design Development to finalize the Learning Center. Integrate aspects like façade design, spatial layouts, materiality, and environmental considerations. The building should span 1,200–1,300 m², include 3–5 storeys, and reflect place-making principles.
Deliverables: Concept diagrams, massing models, detailed plans, façade designs, and final presentation panels, including technical details and environmental solutions.
